LUNDY'S LANE

Niagara Falls has some serious historical importance to North America. Lundy's Lane is named after the actual Battle of Lundy's Lane that was fought on July 25th, 1814. Considered to be one of the bloodiest battles of the War of 1812, Lundy's Lane has been transformed and includes popular family friendly seasonal activities year round with the eastern portion of Lundy's Lane being transformed into the National Historic Site of the Battle of Lundy's Lane. Visit the Niagara Falls History Museum and follow the trail on a map to experience the American military advance and the British defensive positions. Don't forget to visit the final resting place for Laura Secord, a truly Canadian icon.
